Firearms Training Course
Jim Simpson is a Maryland State Police and NRA certified pistol instructor. He provides courses in basic shooting skills and safety, as well as classes required by Maryland to obtain licenses needed to both purchase and carry handguns in Maryland. He also works as an armed security professional protecting various sites throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
A strong Second Amendment supporter, Jim has been an NRA member for 35 years, and has written many articles on the Second Amendment and other issues for such publications as Capital Research Center, American Thinker, Daily Caller, Law Enforcement Alliance for America, Soldier of Fortune magazine and many others.

Jim provides a training course for both the Maryland Wear and Carry permit, (also called CCW or Hand Gun Permit (HGP)), and the Handgun Qualification License (HQL), required to purchase a firearm in Maryland. He also provides training in basic pistol shooting, pistol care, shooting safety and tactics for self-defense with a handgun.
