Maryland Shall Issue (https://www.marylandshallissue.org). Provides a wealth of information on Maryland gun legislation and the best organization in Maryland fighting for our Second Amendment rights. Every gun owner and others with any interest in preserving our freedoms should join this tax-exempt group.
Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network (https://armedcitizensnetwork.org/). This group will help you if you are involved in a self-defense shooting. It is not insurance, but a group of committed Second Amendment supporters who will get you the best legal representation at no cost.
Wilson Combat Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@gowilsoncombat). Provides many good videos on firearms self-defense. Massad Ayoob, (https://massadayoobgroup.com/), one of America’s foremost experts on firearms use and laws provides much of the content.
U.S. Concealed Carry Association, (https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/), (USCCA). This organization provides free training from time to time, provides carry insurance for its members and has an online store that provides discounts to members. (I do not recommend one insurer over another but you should have carry insurance if you carry a firearm.
Next Level Training (https://nextleveltraining.com/). This site sells the popular SIRT laser pistol, and provides a lot of helpful training materials. This pistol lets you dry fire repeatedly without having to rack the slide, and shows hits with a red laser pointer in the barrel. If you’ve taken my classes you know that I recommend dry-fire as 80 percent or more of your pistol training. Students of mine can get a significant discount off SIRT gun prices.
